Example of Activity Schedule

• 7:30 - 8:00 Arrival. Welcome, hand washing, breakfast, teeth brushing.
• 8:00 - Freeplay: toys, blocks, puzzles, housekeeping, music, art, etc. Circle time: alphabet, counting, calendar, weather, helpers of the day assigned.
• 9:30 - Breakfast, hand washing and potty break / diaper changing.
• 10:00 - Group activity / Arts & Crafts: age appropriate paperwork, writing practice, scissor skills, math and counting, writing practice, coloring, painting, planned projects, etc.)
• 11:00 - Outdoor play - walk, sandbox, hide & seek, trikes, slides, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, etc.
• 12:00 - Clean up & wash up. Lunch time. Children participate in food prep, hand washing, setting table, serving and help clean up. Family style meals are a great way to expose children to social and language skills.
• 12:30 - Story time. Nap / quiet time.
• 3:00 - Snack. Potty break / diaper changing.
• 3:30 - Outdoor play. Group play like sandbox / hide & seek / races / tags / jumprope / slide or planned activity.
• 4:30 - In-side play-time. Potty break / diaper changing, children play with materials in activity areas while teacher uses time to focus on one-to-one activities with each child or pairs in organized games. Floor puzzles, free art, and freeplay.
• 5:00 - Getting ready for home.

This is just a sample of our day. The schedule is customized to meet the needs of all the children every day.

Star Night

Star Night is requested by parents to have the day care opened Saturday evening till Sunday morning, a sleep over for the children. Friends are welcomed, but will be required to fill out our registration form. If less than two families participate the event will be cancelled.

Recommendations to have a fun time:

• Bring pajamas with or on the child.
• Starnight is from 7pm till 9am.
• Age appropriate snacks will be provided.
• Breakfast will also be provided.
• Story time will start at 9pm.
